Another Good Cruise

Sail Date: January 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The Glory is one of Carnival's standard ships. It is still fresh and well laid out. Even with 2,600 people it does not seem crowded. The service is good, both in the dining rooms and state rooms. Tendered two days and their excursions had priority which we did not like. Great value.

Pros: Carnival has a relaxed atmosphere, good service and wide range of cruise ages.

Cons: Location of dining room.

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Food and Dining
The food is predictable but good. Plenty of choices at a varety of locations.
Cabin / Stateroom
Large rooms that were well maintained.
Ship Quality
Glory is adding outdoor screen during dry docking starting Feb 1, 2010. This is a benefit and wished they had prior to cruise. The layout of the ship and size are nice. I really like all the activities being located on deck 5 or Lido decks.
Entertainment
Carnival always has something going on, I like the various activities on the Lido deck and nightime shows / night clubs. Appreciate they have penny slots.
