Really disappointed with how a crisis was handled by the employees at the Pursar's Desk as well as the second in command (Carlos Aquilone). VERY rude, uncompassionate, and heartless!! The only carnival staff that was present on the cavetubbing excursion in Belize was the photographer and he was taking pictures of horrified passengers clinging to life and their tubes as they near the exit of the river where were was no one (except other carnival passengers) to pull them from the river. It was a horrible experience and I really hated how when were who were on the excursion got back to the ship we were told not to discuss what happened because other people were on their vacation too. After losing a passenger to drowning on that excursion (not to mention others that were lost from their families for HOURS while no one came to find them and the multiple lacerations and broken bones) it was PARTY night on the lido deck. VERY disrespectful!!! The first four days were great but the whole trip was ruined after porting in Belize! Be careful on choosing an excursion, even if it is through Carnival they are not monitored and your safety is NOT a top priority.

Pros: Tabyana Beach

Cons: Disaster Cavetubbing and Heartless Head Staff

Recommends Carnival Glory? No.

Service and Staff
Dining, stateroom, and room service staff was EXCELLENT! We loved our head waitress and her helper. After ordering an espresso the first evening, one was brought everyday after dinner without asking. The higher staff was beyond BAD. They were insensitive and harsh pertaining to the tragedy. POORLY HANDLED!
Not for my age range. The comedian was great though.
Ship Quality
I felt a little overcrowded and the public spaces were always crowded. It was very clean all the time and the decor was ok. Layout took a while to figure out and things were not very accessible for my parents.
Food and Dining
Dinner was great. We rarely had anything we didn't like and when we did, something else was always offered. Breakfast and lunch buffet was not great and sit down breakfast options never changed. We really liked room service even though if you have a soda card, you can't have soda brought to your room via room service.
Cabin / Stateroom
Size was fine for the two of us, would have been uncomfortable if kids were present. Beds were really comfortable but the "crack" where the two twin beds were pushed together was bothersome.
