Review SummaryOn the first day of our cruise we complained to the purser about the terrible noise in the cabin and especially on the balcony. We asked if wecould have a better room and offered to pay for it.
Though they apologized for the inconvenience and send letters of apology, nobody came to check it out, which in my opinion meas that they are well aware of the situation.
A numberof cabins on the 8th floor are located directly under the swimming pool and probably because of a fault in the construction one hears people walking, moving chairs and tables on the wooden floor. We are not talking about a littele noise noe and then, we are talking a very loud noise, which makes conversation impossible, especially on the balcony. It goes on till late at night and starts early in the morning.
I don't know if we are the only ones who complained officially, but a number of our neighbors complained to us and thought it was a shame.
Bunny Zinkerman, who is our travel agent inyour company, and with whom we like to do business, was enthusiastic about this cabin. Our main request was to have a balcony, but to pay money for an unusable balconyis very misleading and we really like to know how we can protect ourselves in the futur from such bad experiences.
We hope that because of this letter, no more victims wiil be made because for people to look forward to a nice and quiet vacation, it is kind of criminal.
