Wonderful all around

Sail Date: May 05, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Ship was kept very clean. Team members were always eager to help and greeted you everytime they walked by you. Cruise director was very excited and would get everyone else that way. The shore excurisions were all great that we did. We had a great trip and everyone seemed to work hard to make sure we did.

Pros: Clean ship, great staff, plenty of food

Cons: Food was good, but not great

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Ship Quality
Pools are all small and the spas are pool spas. Other than that everything was clean and plenty of room for everyone.
Food and Dining
The dining room we were in was platinum, the food was good and the service was great. The buffets were plentiful, but the taste was not always great., it was usually good though.
Cabin / Stateroom
We did not get a room with a balcony. I suggest to do that from now on. This ship has lots of balcony rooms. Otherwise room was nice, just a little cramped.
Service and Staff
The staff seems to love working on the ship and were always helpful
You get a paper telling you what is going on the next day every night and they use the intercom some to tell you what is going on. They try to keep you informed. If you miss anything, they usually replay all of the really fun stuff and important stuff on the tv. Be sure you watch Wee Jimmy and Little Ella's morning show. They tell you stuff there too.
Belize City, Belize
We went to an island (I do not remember the name). It was beautiful. The trainers here were great. We touched and had our pictures taken with the dolphins. You do not actually swim with them, but they do lots of tricks and are magnificent animals. This was really amazing. On the walk to the dolphins one of the trainers tells you interesting things about dolpins and Belize. This is a great one to do!!
Don't Miss: Dolphin Encounter
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
We had Diane as our guide and she was great! On the way there (it is an hour bus ride), she gave us Spanish lessons. She is full of knowledge and eager to share it. She made this a good place to go. She keeps your attention. There are not a lot of the ruins uncovered here, but it was very nice to see the ones that were
Don't Miss: Chaccabean Mayan Ruins (don't think I spelled it right)
Nassau, Bahamas
We did snorkeling here. The Catamarran snorkeling was fun. It was very beautiful. Lots of fish, coral reef, and don't forget an underwater camera. You will see some beautiful fish.
Don't Miss: Catamarran Snorkeling
Cozumel, Mexico
I went on the submarine and my husband went scuba diving. He loved his. Mine was good, but really crammed in the sub. If you don't like tight spots, this is a really tight. We did see some beautiful coral reef and some fish.
Don't Miss: scuba diving
