A Great Vacation

Sail Date: January 27, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship was great. We liked the size of the cabins, how quiet it was and accessability to "events" on the prominade deck. The food was excellent and well presented by staff. The Lido deck was in itself a great place to spend the day. I was impressed by the stability of the vessel itself (Old destroyer man myself of the 50's era.) and the low noise and vibration from the screws.

Pros: Total relaxing atmosphere from start to finish

Cons: Smoaking in Casino and bars.

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Enjoyed the staff at our evening meals especially.
Cabin / Stateroom
Clelan, quiet and comfortable.
Service and Staff
All shows in Amber room were excellent. Definately need one bar designated totally non smoaking for seniors with good size dance floor and band to dance to. Need an area in the bars for non smoakers. This one thing discouraged us from spending any time in the bars. Lobby was great but not big enough and would like a band to dance to.
Belize City, Belize
Again just interested in a walk around the town to "see" the culture and arcetecture.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Little too commercial for me. But well done.
Nassau, Bahamas
Only went for walk. Was very crouded.
Cozumel, Mexico
Only interested in a walk.
