I will never cruise on Carnival again--I much prefer Royal Carribean. The amount of Money is great to most people and the service should be comparable. All 21 of us were dissappointed.

Pros: it never rained, lots of deck chairs, friendly people

Cons: our dinner reservation was wrong and could not be fixed, service was lousy, a sewer smell throughout the ship. I highly reccommend Royal Carribbean but do not reccommend Carnival.

Ship Quality
hallways and public restrooms smelled like sewer, I had to request soap and toilet tissue on the pool deck. Not as roomy as Royal Carribbean.
Food and Dining
Food was not great and selection wasn't either. Items appeared on the menu more than once. A child vomited at the table behind us--they moved the party to a new table but didn't clean up the vomit - it stank thru our whole meal. We were a party of 21 and they left out 4 of us--at a different time and dining room! LOng lines at the daily resturant
Service and Staff
Aside from the matre'd who couldn't get us all together for dinner the staff was pleasant. We had to wait for dinner drinks/wine until sometimes after our entree--we finally got our own drinks from the bar befor we went to dinner. had to ask for iced tea and coffee--usually recieved after dessert instead of with it.
Entertainment
Cabin / Stateroom
bathroom was more spacious
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
loved bikini beach
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
the ferry didn't show up to take us back from St. John.
Don't Miss: St. John was nice--food lines were 30-40 minutes long
Nassau, Bahamas
