this ship was Amazing!! I had a Blast and was Never bored nor unhappy. The customers service was Top of the Line

Ship was in good condition, but our waiter at dinner was bad. Our table was the last to eat and food was cold at times when served. Also Carnival's smoking policy was not followed as smoking guest were allowed to smoke in non smoking areas of the ship.

We just returned from an 8-day Eastern Carribbean cruise on the Carnival Freedom. It was our first and I can say first of many to come! We had a fabulous time. I wasn't all that into the ports of call, but becasue the ship was so nice and activities fun, it didn't matter too much about the ports of call. We did a few excursions that were well organized and fun and we did a few of our own sight-seeing days which were more of a challenge. I'd probably just stick to the sponsored excursions unless you really know the location. The food was mostly good, although there were a few times when it was just okay. Maybe that was us...eating too much. Ice cream cones 24-7 were a huge hit and we calculated that if everyone on the cruise had eaten 3 per day (which we certainly did) they served more than 9000! wow! Entertainment was fabulous - excellent shows. I would suggest more bingo, but even what they had was great. Plenty to do, plenty to eat and plenty of time to do nothing if that's what you want. We loved it and will be back for more.

A great time from beginning to end. The Freedom is a beautiful ship and we found plenty of activities for people of all ages. We particularly enjoyed the evening shows in the theater. The staff who took care of our room were amazingly efficient and friendly. The food was excellent and we were provided with a multitude of choices. The fitness center was great, as well as the pools and sauna. An excellent value for the vacationer.

the ship layouts was very informative about where to go for evacuations, locating our rooms, dining areas,etc

I loved the ports and the distribution of days at sea vs. days in port. I would definately do this type of cruise again. 8 days with 3 ports. The stops were excellent as well. The white water rafting in Costa Rica was spectacular. The ship was nice but a little small for this many sea days. The pools were a disapointment due to the sizes. There were 3 pools but they were all too small to be considered pools. Everyone except the casion staff were friendly and knowlegable. I will pay more attention to the ship ammenities for our next cruise.

We were very happy with the ship, the layout and the ease of where everything was located.

We love this ship as it was our third cruise aboard the Carnival Freedom. The Staff seem to go out of their way to make sure you have the very best of times.

The price for this cruise is very reasonable . Good variety of activities. Definitely a fun ship! Don't expect to be pampered though. If you have an eye for style/elegance/color co-ordination - close your eyes and look away on this ship!

I was totally outdone with my room by Tuesday, September 14th. The room had a connecting door with people who smoked, TV tuned very high, cabin door left open so it sounded like a hurricane coming through my cabin. I didn't get any sleep. The bed was so uncomfortable; I felt like I was sleeping on a slab. I voiced my complaint to Carnival. I will never take this ship or cruise again. I am 45 years of age and look forward to having a fun and relaxing vacation. I spent over $2000 for this cruise not counting airfare and it was awful. My allergies flared up due to the smoking in the connecting cabin. I don't have children and the noise in the next cabin truly got on my nerves. I will be cruising a different ship other than Carnival in the future and I am uncertain about booking again with . Thank you.

Ship was stunning. Easy layout. Never been on the Carnival Freedom before. This was our 13th cruise. Loved how we got treated getting on and getting off. No waiting because we were VIP. Was off ship in 20 minutes. Big plus!!!!!!!

Our overall impressions of the ship were that it was it was well equipped, a good sized vessel & kept immaculately clean.

My wife and I had a wonderful, Relaxing time on the Freedom we were with family that were in the cabin next to us and everything is great.

unlike other cruises, the amenities were lacking from the food at the buffet to the activities available. it was relaxing and the service was good but otherwise the ship's rating is low. the decor was not too great either

The Freedom was a nice ship. Layout of the floors was a liitle difficult to manage. Elevator lobby lights defining whether an elevator was going up or down could only be seen from directly in front of the elevator prompting passengers to run around to see which elevator was going where they wanted to go. When a show got out elevators were inadequate for the passenger load. Only one lounge for cigar smokers and it was not available periodically when the lounge was set up for private group functions.

We just got back from our 6 day cruise on Carnivals Freedom out of Port Everglades/Ft Lauderdale. This was our 5th Carnival cruise and we have once again been very pleased with our vacation. The housekeeping was wonderful - what a delight to come back our room and have our beds made for us! Fresh towels and the towels animals made my night to come back to to find out "what was made that night" What FUN! The Posh restuarant did not disappoint - Our waiter Jose was polite and cheerful every single night. It's hard to believe how many hours they work - and with a smile to boot! The comdey clubs were such fun - to laugh and forget about our everyday lives, was a hoot! The excursions were wonderful - the only thing I can say negative at all was the LONG wait in line for the tender at Grand Cayman to get back on the ship. It was really hot - and there was little to no shade to stand in. Maybe they should put up a free water station like they had in Jamaica. Just a thought. We booked all our excursions thru Carnival - before we sailed. The Bamboo Beach was - how can I say....very native - rustic. A lot of tree roots - so you had to be very careful not to trip. The service was nice - our tour guides Tami & Norma were very helpful bringing our drinks and food to us. All in all - this was a wonderful trip - I would do it again in a heart beat and would recommend anyone looking for a relaxful, eventful week to book this cruise.

I've been on many cruises, and I think this was overall the best one in a long time, though I've never been on a bad cruise! The food was great (my favorite dessert is the warm chocolate melting cake - one of the reasons I cruise with Carnival!) The staff was all friendly and helpful. The entertainment was first-class. I also like how they do their new comedian shows - several different comedians though out the evening, every evening.

Very courteous staff. Anything you needed you could get. But drinks were outrageous! Need to have all-inclusive packages.

This was the first time our family of four booked a cruise. It was a great experience and would definitely travel this way again. We were four adults staying in one stateroom without a window and it was a little tight at times. I was able to see a stateroom with a window, and it definitely makes a difference. The layout is slighty different and seems to provide more room and light. The ship is very clean, the staff very polite and friendly, the food incredible, and lots of things to do. Getting on and off the ship was extremely organized. I would recommend Carnival Cruises to any looking to book a cruise.
