Ship was clean. Layout was a little confusing at times. I find the staff was not as friendly and attentive as other carnival lines. I thought maybe they were just missing their families for the Holidays. Food was quite European. Would like to have seen a little more American basics.

The ship was nice and large. Perfectly suited for everyone. Highly recommend balcony room off the back of the ship. Sunset from your room every night. My daughter went from hating daycare at home to begging to go to camp carnival on the ship. The staff constantly went above and beyond to make this the trip of a lifetime.

The ship was really nice and was kept very clean. My housekeeper was awesome! He was very friendly and professional. All of the ship's staff were the same, very friendly and professional. Everyone wanted to make sure I had a great time on the cruise. The only problem I had was in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and that's not the fault of the cruise ship. I had a great time on the trip and thought the ship was excellent.

Everything was great!

Dining rooms were clean and attractive and servers were good and attentive. The food was occasionally very good if it only required cooking. If it required seasoning or a recipe it was typically poor. Food was typically warm at best, more often than not overcooked, and not pleasing to the palate. Even their premier steakhouse was average at best.

The ship was wonderful. It was very clean and updated - however, there were several smokers on this ship, I came home sick because of all the smoke there was on board.

This ship was similar to others. Overall it was really good, but some new staff were still getting used to things. They improved as the cruise went on though.

I've on been on this ship (Freedom, built in 2007) & Norwegian Spirit (I think that one wa built in 1999?). Freedom far suroassed the Spirit - more updated look/feel, nice big screen TV outside & waterslide!

The food choices and selections were outstanding! I've been on 15+ Royal Caribbean cruises and this one is in my top three. There was always someone cleaning something. My wife and myself were eating lunch on the pool deck and I saw a crew member cleaning the legs of the deck chairs. I told my wife I've never seen that on any ship! Another huge plus for us was the fact that there wasn't constant pressure and sales pitching like Norwegian to buy this and buy that constantly.

Ran into the cruise director first meet him when he started he was on the Extacy, now on the Freedom.. We also ate at the Chefs table.

this ship was not prepared to handle medical emergancies and because of them farting around and not handling it correctly, over 3,000 people had to miss their last port of call. ship arrive at the dock mush earlier than expected and everybody was told to leave the ship starting at 8:30 am.

The ship was very nice.All the staff were great.

Prior to sailing, we watched the Youtube film of the architect who designed the Freedom and couldn't wait to see it in person. We weren't disappointed....love just wandering around seeing the special touches everywhere ....the design the colors. materials and fabrics...really loved it.

Overall we gave our ship a 7 out of 10. The food and service both received 10 out of 10s!!! Flawless and amazing! The shows were a 7/10 but the FREE activities only scored a 3. The ammenities (chairs on the deck, seating availability throughout the ship and pools, hot tubs etc) scored a 8/10.

Great cruise.

The ship is very nice. Not much happening in disco area. Very nice pool areas. Spa prices average. Very nice workout room. Ports of calls a bit disappointing. Costa Rica is such a poor country, and the boat ride thru the canels was boring. Panama was so dirty! Definitely take a pre-planned tour of city which will take you to the Panama Canal.

This was our first cruise. The ship was beautiful, the crew was friendly, the food was good, the casino was fun, the entertainment was better than expected, and the overall vacation was excellent.

SHIP ACCOMODATES 3000 PASSENGERS AND CANNOT SERVICE THIS MANY PASSENGERS ADEQUATELY. TOO MUCH STANDING IN LONG LINES WAITING TO EAT. HAVE TO CLEAN YOUR OWN TABLE TO EAT AND THEN LOOK FOR CREW PERSON WHEN FINISHED TO PLEASE TAKE YOUR TRAY. QUALITY OF SERVICE HAS CERTAINLY HIT ROCK BOTTOM IN THIS AREA. SMALL CARNIVAL SHIP ARE SO MUCH BETTER AND HAS MUCH BETTER QUALITY OF SERVICE. BIGGER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER IN THIS SHIPS CASE. SAW A LOT OF PASSENGERS UNHAPPY ABOUT BEING ABLE TO GET SERVICE.

The ship is very clean and well maintained, everything looks brand new, an absolutly beatuiful ship.

We recently took a 6 day cruise onboard of Carnival Freedom, and we all had a blast. Our kids, ages 5 and 7, had the time of their life. It was awesome fun for the whole family
