The ship was clean and well maintained. The room steward was phenomenal and the rooms were very nice. We had a balcony room and it was wonderful.

The ship is beautiful. The service and the quality of food is not what I've come to expect while cruising. This is my second Carnival cruise. The first was on the Victory. I took my four children and was pleasantly surprised in all aspects. My wife and I have sailed five times with Royal Carribean and have been spoiled apparently. This cruise would rank below our 1991 trip on a Norweigan ship. The staff of the Freedom was pleasant enough, but our room was not made up one day and seemed to be quickly picked up on two occasions. On two different evenings our table suffered through cold food. In addition, not one of the people on our table at a decent piece of beef all week. Over-cooked or under-cooked beef is all the chef seemed to know how to prepare. It's a shame that a nice cut of meat is ill prepared. I was truly under-whelmed.

The FREEDOM was clean and well maintained. Finding our way around only took a day or two. Staff was very helpful, professional and eager to meet passengers needs.

Overall this was a good cruise, the food was good, our room was comfortable, the staff great, and fun ports of call! The ship's look is okay, nothing spectular, and many commented that's ugly, I didn't really mind it. The entertainment was terrible, no variety.

Wasn't impressed at all with The Carnival freedom. the decor was nothing special. I've been cruising for over 10 Years and I must say for this ship being newer than most ships it wasn't up to par. Drinks were outrages and it seemed that Carnival has gotten money Hungry about everything. I will defiantly continue to vacation with Royal Caribbean & Norwegian over Carnival.

Jamaica was nasty. Vendors were aggressive, lifeguard urinated on the sand openly dirty dirty dirty Caymans were clean and interesting, go to theTurtle farm

My husband celebrated his 60th birthday, so he wanted to go on a cruise instead of have a party. This was the best cruise we have ever been on. It is a big and beautiful ship. It was a lot of laughter, fun and excitement . We had a blast.. It is great for any age group if you want to have a good time. They picked the right name for this cruise ship. "The Fun Ship.

HAD A GOOD TIME. MET SOME NICE PEOPLE AND ALL WENT WELL.

We were a bit disappointed with our cruise. Always were told that it is reasonably priced with all that is available to you. To date, the most expensive vacation we've ever taken. We are big travelers and have been many places, mainly resorts and spas and that is what we will stick with. We may have just picked a bad time to go on our first cruise "Spring Break"! It is nice that you get to see several different places all in one vacation, that is the only plus/positive. Not sure will cruise again. If we do, will probably be another cruise line.

Overall ship was very nice. Buffet lines were long.

The ship was very clean, well maintained and the decor was attractive. Our cabin was very accessible to all the important places we wanted to go to. We specifically enjoyed the Serenity area.

THIS IS A VERY NICE SHIP. BIG. GOOD FOOD AND GREAT ENTERTAINMENT. MY MAIN COMPLAINT IS THIS.. AND WE HAVE BEEN ON 5 OTHER CARNIVAL CRUISES.. OUR DINING ROOM WAITER WAS NOT FRIENDLY.. HE DIDNT GREET US BY NAME AT ALL AND NEVER ASKED US OUR NAMES.. WHICH WAS VERY ODD SINCE WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN GREETED BY NAME. HE NEVER EVEN INTRODUCED HIMSELF. I ASKED HIM HIS NAME ON THE 2ND DAY AND HE SAID I ALREADY TOLD YOU... HMMM.. EVEN AFTER THAT HE STILL NEVER ASKED US OUR NAMES OR GREETED US.. THE DINING ROOM FOOD HAS BECOME A BIT SUBSTANDARD. THE STEAKS WERE TERRIBLE, TOUGH AND FLAVORLESS.. THE REST OF THE FOOD WAS GREAT THOUGH.. MY OTHER MAJOR COMPLAINT IS OUR ROOM STEWARD. ALTHOUGH OUR ROOM WAS ALWAYS CLEAN WE NEVER MET HIM.. NOR SAW HIM.. I SAW SOME MAN IN THE HALLWAY A FEW TIMES.. I GUESS THAT WAS OUR ROOM STEWARD? I FOUND THAT REALLY ODD TOO.. THEY ARE USUSALLY SO FRIENDLY.. SO IF I NEEDED ANYTHNG I COMMUNICATED WITH HIM VIA A NOTE.. IT SEEMS CARNIVALS STAFF DIDNT SEEM AS FRIENDLY OR HAPPY .. I KNOW THEY WORK HARD.. BUT THIS WAS A BIGGY ON THIS TRIP.. WE WERE NOT ACKNOWLEDGED AT ALL.. THAT MAKES ME VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH CARNIVAL.. I MAY OPT FOR ANOTHER CRUISE LINE AFTER THIS.. BUT ALL IN ALL ITS A GOOD CRUISE.. WITH GOOD PORTS OF CALL AND GREAT SERVICE IN THE BUFFETS, LOUNGES, AND DINING ROOM.. THE EMPLOYEES JUST SEEMED TO BE FLAT EFFECT TO ME...

fairly clean but i felt llike i was there to spend money non stop

We enjoyed the ship and had a great time. The only problem was the amount of chairs compared to the amount of people on ship. When you go on vacation you do not want to have to search for a lounge chairs. One day we had to lay out on our towels. But as far as the ship itself and the staff it was great.

I love sailing on Carnival. There is always something for everyone to do. Personally, I just wanted to relax this time and that is exactly what I did. It was great!

the personal people is very serius and the activities is bad . i have eleven cruises on royal ,two in princess, one norweian,one celebrity,one disneyand one costa , all cruises the activities is wonderfull but this cruises is poor
