Review summary

This was our first cruise with Carnival. We had previously always gone with RCL. It was definitely an older ship with few amenities compared to other ships we’ve experienced. The food was pretty good and the service was exceptional.

Make your expectations realistic. It is a fine cruise and the staff are incredible, however it is a much older ship and even though it has gone through a renovation, it lacks a lot of the design elements and amenities that the newer ships have.

I highly recommend the Dolphinaris dolphin experience! We got to swim with the dolphins, had snorkeling, paddle boards, beach access, and all you can eat buffet included.

@KrysandRy19... You picked a great ship for your first cruise. I expect you will have a great vacation. Make sure to review when you return..... I wouldn't worry about this review since it was done a year later, and shortly after taking a cruise on one of the newest and largest ships in the Carnival fleet........p.s. get a pig patty with s.m.c. at Guy's Burger🐖 and turn your phone off (to avoid international roaming charges 💸)

Need to do your homework if u want all the bells and whistles then book it don’t come back and complain when you booked it it’s your choice 🤷‍♀️
