Review summary

almost perfect except to our room, we've been assign to the second deck and it's at the very end of the ship and just above of the propeller of the ship. we're hearing the noise and some parts of our room are shaking EVERYDAY AND NIGHT. instead of getting the relaxation and a getting the sleep that we need at night for us to have energy for the next day, we can't fully enjoy the day. as a merchat marine, i know how things on a ship. this is our first time on a cruise (but not for me on a ship) just to celebrate our 25 year of our marriage and we're expecting a full enjoyment on our anniversary .

too noisy. feels like there's a helicopter inside our room when it's time for departure/arrival .

Ship tip

don't put any guest at the second deck and at the very end of the ship

Ohhh...I like a nice hum and good vibrations, but I coulda done without a sound like a bunch of rats tapping their nails on the ceiling above my head

I personally love the vibration and noise.... I sleep like a baby on every cruise regardless of where we are on board (9 cruises ranging from deck to to all the way up to the VIP suites).

the screaming kiddos up and down the hallways on deck 1 at 1am,2am...really?

And, that was in a balcony room - so don't think it was all about your room location.

I was up on seven and it was all buzzy and vibrating up there too. Each night, and in the middle of the night!) the ceiling panels started tapping noises. I don't remember a ship vibrating so much.

Deck 10 interior was wonderful for us! No noise! Cabin 1054 if you decide to book a future cruise!

What was your room number?

They usually offer you an "upgrade" once they've booked most of the other rooms and need to sell the cheap lower deck rooms. We have stayed on Empress and the Upper deck near the back and both have been fine.
