Review summary
Lets start with the good parts. Embarkation went smoothly. Our room was ready at 1 PM. Aft facing balcony room 7446 which was really the main saving grace of this entire cruise. Room was quiet (when the gangs weren't using the 7th floor for their games) and our room steward Kitty was great. The food for the most part was good. We ate in the buffet since we don't like taking 2 hours for a meal. Debarkation was a dream and good thing because we were MORE than ready to debark! We carried our bags off and it took the time to leave our room and walk off. We were in our car on on the road at 6:30 AM!!!! Now for the bad parts. The kids on this cruise, and there were hundreds of them, were TOTALLY out of control. Everywhere you went were groups of loud and obnoxious kids screaming foul language. Groups of boys playing baseball in the dining room with the fruit and carrying cups spitting water on each other and other guests. The crew could not have cared less as if it was just business as usual! We have never witnessed such a total lack of control or just a lack of caring by the crew or the parents.... where ever they were. Gangs of kids running from floor to floor playing hide and seek or some such game at all hours of the day and night for the entire 8 days. We even witnessed some obviously under 21 kids in the over 21 pool area drinking beer and wine their "mother" supplied them. I could go on and on but suffice it to say we will NEVER take another Carnival cruise. EVER!!!!Ship experiences
