this ship is awesome!! nothing looked worn or damaged that i saw, it was our first sailing experience and we have already started planning our next one, it left a good impression on us.
it was a little overwhelming at first, but the crew got us pointed in the right direction and things went smoothly after that.
although the food was small portions i still feel like i managed to gain 10 pounds in a short time,
the only complaint either of us have is that it went too fast

Pros: we were fortunate to have a very nice room for our first cruise experience, the whole atmosphere had us both happy with our experience overall

Cons: i have two things i disliked the most, first, we were located right beside a deck exit door, all times of the night this door kept slamming loudly, second, even when you put up the snoozin sign on the door these folks still just came right in

Recommends Carnival Freedom? Yes!

Entertainment
there appeared to be a lot of stuff to do, we however didn't do any of it, we chose to lounge around and take in other stuff instead
Cabin / Stateroom
the only gripe i really have about our stateroom was the bed, i like sleeping next to my woman, and this is not the bed to do that on, it was basically a set of twin beds shoved together, i had to get up several times a night just to slide the two beds back together, the lighting was excellent in the stateroom, and the balcony turned into a place that we spent a ot of time just watching the ocean go by
Ship Quality
this ship was wonderful,,,i didnt see anything broken or needing repair at all, i did notice several times during the trip that maintenance people were in the process of fixing stuff that didnt even appear like it needed repairs, i guess thats why this ship was so nice
Food and Dining
lots of dining areas, although it didnt really seem like there was a lot of variety, although the buffet items changed daily, it just never seemed like it was a lot of new choices,
for someone who loves deserts this is the place to be, all of the deserts were excellent, and lots of choices there.
Service and Staff
thinking about it now, we really didnt have all that much interaction with the ship crew, we relied on the pamphlets they had in the room, they explained most of what we wanted to know, the limited interaction we did have with the crew was quite pleasant and helpful
Children's Programs
we had no children with us, but from walking around the ship and seeing things there appeared to be a lot of children's activities
