The Carnival Freedom

Sail Date: May 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

My wife and I are Platinum members and are able to compare the theater productions of other ships to the Freedom. The work was a rehash of older shows. The music lacked energy and the featured lead singers weren't talented. The dancers were only able to give what they were given...Dull themes and poor or dull arrangements. On a ship as new as the Freedom, the level of the performance should have come up to the level presented by the Liberty or the Destiny...It did not. The importance of this is apparent in that it is the main production on the ship...the "Showcase." The ship is beautiful and it is full of great people. Please look into what the other newer ships are doing and bring the level of the performance up to where it should be. Give the customers, like ourselves, a good show and we'll be back.

Pros: The people...all the staff, especially the room steward and food servers.

Cons: The entertainment was extremely lacking in singing talent and content.

Recommends Carnival Freedom? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Entertainment
As per my review, the "Showcase" entertainment needs work.
