Review SummaryWhen we booked we requested open dining and were told that was fine. When we checked in at the port and got our keys we saw late dining we were told to go to the desk inside which we waited there 40 minutes to be told to check with the Maitre'd which we did he said he would let us know. The next day they said sorry could not do it. We had 3 children 7, 8 and 11 that fell asleep everynight in the dining room. Our servers brought the Maitre'd over and showed him this and he said sorry. Many tables were always open we had looked in during the early dining as well and saw this, still they would not change it. It made the end of the day rough for everyone as the kids . We were upset more could not be done especially when it said open dining right on our reservation and we were assured it would be.
When we were at Key West we did the glass bottom boat ride, I believe it was $41.99 adult and the kids were in the $30 price range. We walked to the boat, and found they were selling the tickets there for $10 LESS per ticket. At 7 tickets that was $70 that was a rip off. No tranportation was needed to walk there. I have been on over 20 cruises and have never had either of the above happen.
The ship is beautiful the majority of the staff wonderful. But simple problems they did not make any attempt to take care of. I called and emailed when I returned and they said Hope you wont let this stop you from cruising again. i would say the upper staff should be more accomodating to their guest, as well as their customer service people on land.
Its like a too bad, cruise is over nothing we will do to keep you as a customer . . ..
