Our First Of Hopefully Many Cruises :-)

Overall we were very happy to have chosen the Carnival Freedom for our first cruise and are looking forward to our next cruise, possibly with Carnival again.
We have learned however that although there are many shore excursions offered, it would have been a more restful experience if we hadn't taken one for each of the ports of call. The Carnival organised shore excursions were well worth doing, for both convenience at being organised by the ship and also for the fact that the ship would not leave without an organised tour groups return, even if it ran late.

Pros: The staff were always very welcoming and willing to assist whenever needed. There was an excellent variety of food to cater for all tastes of the many nationalities on the cruise.

Cons: The distance we needed to walk to get from our, front of the ship, lower deck, room to the restaurants which were all located from the middle of the ship to the rear. Also we were unable to get our requested dining time of 6:00pm instead we had to wait till 8:30pm for dinner which was late for us.

Recommends Carnival Freedom? Yes!
