First Cruise - Last Cruise

Sail Date: July 18, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

Where do I begin? oh yeah it's all started at the entrance of the parking lot. The security guard was so cautious about us. They let everyone go through so quickly except our family. It took the security guard a good 15 minutes to check out pp & boarding ticket. During that time, at least more than 20 cars have passed us. I know safety is important. We were in the minivan & suv - kids and elder..

When we go to the terminal, the porter was generous enough to take all of our luggage inside. We gave them a dollar per luggage. Rule of thumb!

At the check in, we received our ID card. The card is the key to your room, credit card, & dinning time. They made us wait in line because they did not have enough seat. There were empty seats but it's reserved for people who are paying extra at the check in.

The staff did not know what they were doing, first they told us we can seat at the reserved area, then after staff said no. It was so confusing. The line was so long and we were so tired. We just wanted to get on the ship. They made us walking up and down the chair's isle for no reason. At the terminal, they checked our boarding pass and pp at least 5 times!!

When we got to the ship - our rooms were not ready. We ordered 8 rooms at Empress level. None of the rooms were ready. Why? We got to the ship at the coconut restaurant. The line at Pizza, Mongolian,  and deli was so long. We paid avg $1k per person including tips, drinks, gratitude and we had to wait for food.

Basically we had to wait for everything. It's simply too much hassle for us to go again.

on the day the ship docked at Half Moon Cay. We had to wait a good 30 minutes plus another 30 minutes from the ship to the island. The food on the island should be for animal instead of human consumption. The burger was so dry. We were not able to swallow. Banana was so black it's good for baking only!

Our room was horrible E191, the bathroom exhaust does not work, water is way too hot (even I turned all the way to cold), the phone was dirty, and shower has mildew on the top and bottom and around the borders/edges.

On the day when we checked out. We stayed on level 7 empress almost the top deck and we were out last. Our luggage number was 25. We had to wait at the "palace" for 2 hours plus from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Why did we get to leave last? the people who paid less on the level 4 get to leave before us.

Oh one more thing, none of the Public bathrooms was working. Our family had to sneak inside random "room" to go to the bathroom. It was so ridiculous that we did not enjoy the trip from first to the last day.

Food and Dining
Same food at the buffet, pizza, mangolian, deli everyday. At the imagination and sensation, they added plus and minus one dish/appetizer for each night
Service and Staff
They are hard-working people.
Entertainment
Same thing over and over every night
Children's Programs
Onboard Activities
Casino - rob your money. No chance of Winning. So as Arcade. Water slides are okay. The big slide can hurt your back
Destinations and Excursions
Ship Quality
Embarkation and Disembarkation
so much hassle as described
Cabin / Stateroom
Mildew, No air vent, smoke alarm went on everytime when we took the shower, the water was extremely hot . They clean the room but they don't change the sheets. The phone is always dirty
