Great Family Cruise...

Sail Date: November 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Inside

Great cruise for families. Sufficient accommodations for Mom and Dad to relax while the kids have fun.

Pros: Camp Carnival Kids Club\, Cabin Size

Cons: Food Quality

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!

Ship Quality
Nearly impossible to get an elevator but everything else in the layout was satisfactory.
Food and Dining
The food choices were more limited than I've had on prior cruises. We were not at all impressed with the food quality.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our cabin steward (Lareston) was AMAZING. He did everything he could to make our stay most enjoyable. Carnival has the largest base price staterooms of any line we've sailed. Water pressure and temperature were great\, you don't always get that on a cruise.
Service and Staff
Varied throughout the ship. Our steward was amazing\, our dining staff was not.
Entertainment
Pool was too cold to use and resulted in dozens of kids piled into the hot tubs. Water slides were fun for all ages but closed frequently due to wind.
Children's Programs
Camp Carnival was amazing and included in the price of our sail.
