Rocky Ship Ride

Sail Date: November 01, 2013

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The second and third day of the cruise were so bumpy that the shows on the boat along with the excursions were canceled. I know that they can not control the weather but we were not given any time on the beach due to the boat being 3 hours late. For our honeymoon this was the wrong trip to take. My new bride does not ever want to step foot on a cruise ship again. Staff was friendly but we were charged large fees for events that we didn't even get to enjoy or partake in.

Pros: Friendly Staff

Cons: Horrid ship rocking\, shows canceled along with excursions

Recommends Carnival Fascination? No.

Ship Quality
The ship and rooms were clean and nice\, We were told that we would have a window room but our window was covered due to being at the front of the boat.
Food and Dining
Food was good but less quality than previous cruises that I had been on. But we both enjoyed the food and dinning experience when the boat was not jumping.
Cabin / Stateroom
Paid for a window and did not get one\, but the room was nice and clean. The bed kept sliding apart in the middle and made things difficult.
Service and Staff
Staff was great!!!
Most of the entertainment was canceled due to rough waves and the safety of the crew.
