Great Cruise

Wonderful cruise and at a great price. The weather was perfect. There are a few things about the cruise that Carnival should change. First you cannot hear the overhead announcements inside the rooms. If there were an emergency you would not be able to hear it.  Second, your smoking sections (2) are not big enough for the amount of smokers on the cruise. You could never get a seat because there were more than double the amount of smokers then chairs. If you truly want to keep smokers in one section then there should be enough seats or room to accommodate that. Third, should should not have someone making announcements that has a very heavy accent. The ship captain had such a heavy accent no one could understand him when he talked and if it was an emergency no one would know. Fourth, you should offer the battle of the sexes game (can't remember the true name of the game) more than once because it was very fun and there was a couple of nights with no show so why not. The trivia games were so fun but please try to regulate them some how. There were several groups of people cheating and winning the little trophies more than 10 times during the trip.

Overall the trip was awesome and besides the few helpful hints I would take this cruise many times again. There was always some kind of activity to get involved with. I had a inside cabin with no window view and it was a great room with plenty of space for two. The room attendant was very nice and keep the room perfect. I love the towel animals, they were so cute. The attendant remembered our names the entire cruise and it definitely made you feel important or special, yes just that small gesture goes a long way.

If I could only fix one thing from my list above it would be the smoking area. That was very annoying having to stand there and smoke because of the sitting situation. Please please please expand the smoking section and quit making it smaller. I had several repeat cruise takers that said the smoking section keeps getting smaller. You have made it way too small now.

Ship Quality
Great, always clean and the staff worked very hard to keep the tables clean. Didn't care for the painting during the trip though.
Food and Dining
Always something to eat and it was pretty good.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Everyone was very nice and worked really hard.
More shows, try to stop the cheaters during the trivia but very fun activities.
Children's Programs Have no idea.
Onboard Activities
Even though there was a lot to do at all times you definetly could schedule more activities.
Destinations and Excursions
Went out for Nassau and it was great. Did not go out at Freeport. Only thing close to the ship was food.
Jacksonville, Florida
Nassau, Bahamas
Awesome. The guys standing by the ships offering a tour are legit. Good price and they show you all the sites.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
If you want to shop or do anything it is not walking distance from the ship. You have to take a taxi.

You could definetly feel the ship moving at times. Take the sea sick pills or patch even if you think you wont get sick. If you get sick you cannot recover so better safe than sorry. Took the pills and never got sick and wasn't too drowsy (took the less drowsy Dramimine).
