An Honest Review

Sail Date: August 01, 2013

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

The ship was nice, but alot smaller than expected.

Pros: Half Moon Cay Was Beautiful

Cons: Lack of Entertainment on Ship

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!

Ship Quality
Some of the common areas needed updating, but the dining areas were pleasant. Not enough swimming area; only 1 pool.
Food and Dining
All dining was great! Morning, Lunch, Dinner, or buffet the food is service was much better than expected.
Cabin / Stateroom
The room was good. It was small for four people, but we were rarely there.
Service and Staff
The staff was very friendly even when they were pushing alcohol sales. Housekeeping did an amazing job. They NEVER interferred with us.
There were not enough activities on the ship, to the point that most people moved from event to event as only one at a time took place. The shows were just ok, but the dancers were incredibly RUDE. They came to the very small nightclub, I guess for guest relations, but only complained to each other about guest dancing with them.
Children's Programs
Though I signed my daughter up, she didn't like the activities and found other things to do.
