A Noisy Cruise

Sail Date: October 18, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

This is our first cruise with Carnival. We have been on a dozen or more other cruises with other providers. Embarkation went very smoothly. We had an oceanview cabin. The accommodations were fine. No hair dryer. The cabin steward was able to get one for us. As far as the personnel on the ship...they were all great. It was the passengers. This was a 4 night cruise. Kids were running all over. Did not sleep well with kids running up and down the hallways. If you want a relaxing cruise, this one is not recommended.

Pros: Server in Sensation Dining Room

Cons: Noise

Recommends Carnival Fascination? No.

Children's Programs
Our 15 year old granddaughter enjoyed meeting other kids her age.
The 80's show was fantastic. We really enjoyed it.
Service and Staff
The staff we encountered were great.
Cabin / Stateroom
All rooms should have a hair dryer. Not much area for storage in the bathroom.
Food and Dining
Food was okay...not great. Our server Napa was outstanding. What a personality she had!!! We did the open time dining in the Sensation which worked great for us.
Ship Quality
Size of ship was fine. You could not walk around the promenade deck.
