Overall, we were exceptionally pleased with the cruise. It was our first and it was both relaxing and enjoyable. The trips to the private island as well as Nassau were a lot of fun. We had enough time to do what we wanted. But you also have the option to return to the ship at any time. Our evening meals in the dining room were wonderful. We tried foods we had never experienced and the menu always had something yummy to choose from. We didn't like hidden expenses like paying for sodas and photos. They take pictures of you constantly but they are very expensive if you actually want to keep one. But overall, it is a great vacation experience.

Pros: The food and service was very good

Cons: Didn't like having to pay for sodas; limited drink selection included in cost

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!

Service and Staff
The best part of this cruise was the service. Everyone from the room attendant to the towel person at the pool to the dining room staff were exceptional.
Cabin / Stateroom
The rooms are small but that is normal for cruise ships. That being said, the towels were replaced twice a day. So was the ice. We had turn down service and cute towel animals on our bed daily. Very clean. Easy access to the rooms.
Food and Dining
A variety of dining options are available. All of the food was delicious. Note...Highly recommend that you bring your own water bottles and sodas. Sodas on the ship are $2 each and are not included in the price.
Ship Quality
Ship is well maintained and very clean. We saw people cleaning constantly, even windows!
Musical shows on the stage were good but not outstanding. The comedy club was abnoxious and went too far...very offensive and took crude to a new level. We walked out of the comedy performance after 5 minutes. So, see the musicals but skip the comedy club unless you want to hear about homosexuality, sex, f-bombs, and culturally offensive material.
