The ship is dated and need to be renovated. The amenities are poor. There is only a very small pool. The kids are bored since there is nothing to do in the ship. The whole place is crowded and there are long lines everywhere ... to get food, to get out of the ship. It's horrible! Food selection is like Ryan's buffet and is not available 24 hrs. Food is available only in select areas and be prepared for long lines. Service was horrible ... if you point out a flaw in their service, they will give you a 30-minute spill on how it is done... and not fix the issue. The whole service is more staff oriented, rather than customer-oriented. A BIG FLOP IN MY BOOK! It was so bad that the kids wanted to get our luggage when we docked at Nassau and just fly home from there. WORST VACATION ever!

Cabin / Stateroom

Our housekeeping staff was good. Martin did a good job keeping the stateroom clean. However, initially when we checked in, the linens were dirty and had to be changed out after it was pointed out.

Pros: Port at Nassau

Cons: Poor service and food selections

Recommends Carnival Fascination? No.
