My Cruise on the fascination

Sail Date: May 21, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Inside

It was ok, the same as most smaller ships.

Pros: my cabin steward was superb

Cons: the food and the cleanliness of the ship

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!

Ship Quality
same old carnival ship. they are all about the same. the buffet areas and the sitting areas on promenade deck were not very clean. even the palace theater tables.. they were always dirty and sticky.
Food and Dining
the food was not good. ive been on dozens of cruises and many carnival and the food was the worst. the only thing id say was decent was some of the deserts. the rest .. was bad.. eggs in morning were fake and grainy.. every day id go thinking maybe they would be better today.. but yuk every day. the main dining room food was bad. small portions and i didnt like one thing i got.
Cabin / Stateroom
pretty good. the safe didnt work without doing 20 swipes with the card. they need to go to the number keypad system. who wants to carry around a credit card with you all trip to be worried about?
Service and Staff
ok .. pleasant nothing special
Entertainment
kareoke was a hit.. not much else
Children's Programs
youth was good for my son.
