A week of fun and sun

Sail Date: April 01, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We were looking for an affordable get away that would get us to the sunny Bahamas, it did that. The ship had nice rooms, we had a room with the balcony on the back of the ship with great privacy and decent space. The dining areas were not as modern as some of the newer ships and some amenities were not available; but if you want a day in Key West, day on the Beach or water park at Atlantis, and a day or two sunning on the deck, this ship was fine.

If you won't great food, this ship is not for you

Pros: The destinations were worth the trip

Cons: This is an older Carnival ship, it lacks some of the amenities of newer ships and is showing its age

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!

Food and Dining
Nothing above your local diner / chain restaurant food. Even the steak and lobster night was plain.
Cabin / Stateroom
Our room was fine and the steward was excellent but temperature control was a bit difficult.
Service and Staff
There should be to choices here, the cbin staff was excellent, the dining staff was below average, we had the Immagination dining room.
Ship Quality
There was plenty of options to be entertained while on board.
