Great way to relax

Sail Date: April 14, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

This ship has been recently refurbished and was very clean. The ship is in the mid-size class which has it's pro's and con's. The smaller size allows you to easily access all of the ship without having to walk too far, however, it only has one swimming pool area which gets crowded in the middle of the day.

The food quality was excellent in the dining room and at the buffet and the staff was very friendly.

Pros: Friendly service and food quality

Cons: Lack of interesting onboard activities

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!

There were the usual onboard activities such as trivia games and bingo.
Ship Quality
The ship was very clean.
Food and Dining
The food was very good. The dinner menu had a variety of choice from chicken, beef, fish and vegetarian. The Lido deck several buffet menus which changed throughout the cruise and a dessert and ice cream bar.
Cabin / Stateroom
We chose a porthole room near the bow of the ship. Our cabin steward did a great job. I'd choose this room again.
