The ship was very crowded and loud. The pool was tiny, more like "swimming" in a bath tub. All you could do was stand there. There were long lines for everything it seemed. Even though it was all-inclusive, it felt like you were constantly being hit up for more money (pictures, soft drinks, drinks, etc.). I found it really annoying that Camp Carnival kept having parties for the kids that started at 10pm, when the babysitting fees applied!! It was hard to have a relaxing evening for the adults when there were kids, mostly pre-teens, running wild around the boat riding up and down the elevators. If the parents wouldn't control them the staff should have tried to keep them from annoying the other passengers. All in all I would not ride Carnival again and would not recommend it.

Food and Dining

The food was bland and not much better than a buffet restuarant. There was not much to choose from. The second "restuarant" was a buffet offering the same choices as dinner in the dining rooms, just not as nice a presentation and the food had been sitting out for a couple of hours. Yuck. The deli was horrible. The pizza was one of the better items, mainly because it was actually fresh. If this were a restuarant - I wouldn't go back.

OK if your a senior citizen.

Children's Programs

My kids loved it, but there was too much video game time and TV.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
For the most part, very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

It was clean but rundown and the decor was extremely dated. The stateroom size was very small and cramped for a family of 4.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very small, but clean.

Loved it but hated that the shore excursion started at 7 - too early for vacation.

Nassau is rundown and unattractive, people were not friendly or helpful.

Pros: Kids enjoyed the camp carnival

Cons: Crowded and food was not very good

Recommends Carnival Fascination? No.
