This was out first cruise so I have nothing to compare it to, but is cruise ship food always this bad? My past dining experiences have included 5-star restaurants as well as basic family restaurants-Denny's, etc. We were expecting an amazing midnight dessert buffet. We found that there wasn't one.
If you don't like to gamble, bring a book to read. While the shows were outstanding, there was frequently nothing going on, and we were simply bored.
This may be our last cruise. Next time we may opt for a resort with more entertainment options, where we're not trapped on a ship for 5 days with little to do.

Pros: The Entertainment-First Class

Cons: The Food-Average To Terrible

Recommends Carnival Fascination? No.
