Fabulous Time on the High Seas!
Carnival Fascination Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
Sail Date: October 13, 2008
Ship: Carnival Fascination
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 8 years ago
The ship is excellent! Everything is in great condition with the feel of a rather new hotel. Cozy areas were kept quiet for relaxation and reading, gathering areas were full of seating and well lit. The theater area (where most events are held) was very well layed out, it didn't feel like stadium seating or like I was in a lecture. There are huge round tables that seat 8 comfortably, all high backed and generously cushioned for long shows! Other seating was comfortable with a table in reach for drinks, snacks or other items. The stage was enormous for a smaller boat! The shows were no less glam and spectacular than on any large ship we've sailed! Rooms were generous in size with plenty of closet and drawer space. Flat panel television was great! We would have liked to have a clock in the room, though.... We never knew if we were early or late for activities!
Ports of Call
Don't Miss: Atlantis hotel and Casino! The WATERPARK is the best anywhere! The decor is Amazing! Slots pay better than the boat, too!
Don't Miss: Don't miss Sloppy Joe's Bar for the fabulous FOOD!! they have good beer, too! Never leave Key West without a picture of the Southern Most Point in the US!! Mel Fisher and Hemmingway tours rock!
Pros: Price of cruise, MOST efficient staff on the water!
Cons: Smaller ship, more rocking=more motion sickness!
