You get what you pay for. As a weekend getaway it was OK. Ship needs work and it was overrun with kids but it was summer. Pool should be avoided. It was filthy. Staff was generally very friendly.

Pros: Cabins have all been redone recently and they are very comfortable. Not large but our oceanview cabin was birght and very attractive. Love the wonderful beds. Plenty of storage space

Cons: Ship is still very dark. Much too much dark marble and dark ceilings. Felt claustrophobic in the dining room. Lines at buffet were too long and it was very warm. By the time you got the food to your table it was cold. Nothing is worse than cold fried chicken.

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!
