4 Night Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: April 28, 2008
Ship: Carnival Fascination
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 8 years ago

The Fascination was in great condition for the age of the ship. Very clean and fresh. I believe it was newly renovated. (I had cruises before that had a smoky smell to them in the stateroom). The ship was large enough too that even with an almost to capacity booking, we did not run into any crowds at all. We didn't have a balcony, but noticed with the wind, most people didn't use it anyway, so save the cost. It was also nice they let us bring a bottle of wine and champagne (one per person) to celebrate our special occassion. We cruised at the end of April, before the start of Hurricane Season, so the waters were smooth. Carnival always is a good choice!

Have to stop in at Senior Frogs and visit the straw markets. You can negotiate some really good deals. Don't stray too far off the main path!

Captain Tony's (the original Sloppy Joe's) is a bar to visit with lots of history on the walls.
Don't Miss: Malory Square - but much better at sunset!

Pros: The attentive service from all of the staff; especially room attendant!

Cons: Price of the drinks!

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!
