What a great cruise!

Sail Date: July 16, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

We took our cruise on the Fascination which we had been on a few years
earlier. They had refurbished the ship and we were very impressed with
the results. We took our 13 year old grandson on his first cruise and he
was wowed by the whole experience. There were many activities for him
to enjoy and the highlight to him was the 24 hour Pizza.

We visited Key West which we love to return to and Calica from where we
took a tour to Tulum Ruins. Alex really enjoyed both and got to swim at
the base of the Ruins, which was really neat.

I would highly recommend a Carnival Cruise and a great family vacation.
We'll be back!

Pros: We took our 13 year old grandson on his first cruise and he loved it. There were many activities for him to enjoy. The highlight was the 24 hour Pizza. We enjoyed the ports of Key West and Calica where we visited Tulum Ruins. Alex enjoyed that and swimming at the foot of the ruins.

Cons: That the cruise didn't last longer. We were on the Fascination and they had redecorated it and it was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Recommends Carnival Fascination? Yes!

Key West, Florida
We love Key West and were glad to re-visit. We love to walk around the town and look at the unique houses and gardens, which are really beautiful.
Don't Miss: Take the tour of the island to really see as much as you can.
Calica, Mexico
We took a tour to the Tulum Ruins which are worth seeing. Others we talked to mentioned there were other great tours to take too.
Don't Miss: Always take a tour in a new place to not miss seeing what the area has to offer
