While the ship Fascination is older, it was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Most of the staff were wonderful and helpful.

Service and Staff

Our room steward was fantastic and it was nice to have staff you pass in the hall all say hello and wish you well. Our dining room waiter was not pleasant and rather haughty - not what I would consider a good customer service person. I had a problem on the last night of the cruise and the information desk staff eventually rectified it, but it took three trips to the desk and no "I'm sorry for the inconvienience" was ever offered.

Our room was tiny, but clean. The beds were very comfortable.

We arrived at 12noon and booked a shore excursion for 1pm. We returned from the shore excursion at 5:30 and ALL the shops were closed. So although we were in port until 10pm, there wasn't anything to do after we returned from the shore excursion. 5pm-10pm was wasted time.
