Wonderful time with Carnival...

Sail Date: December 22, 2008

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The service staff was first rate. Cabin steward was extremely cordial and prompt with all our requests. The wait staff in the dining room made for an absolutely super experience at every meal. The entertainment was fairly typical cruise fare, but well done. Although there were over 600 kids on board, they were virtually invisible thanks to the great kids programs on the ship. All in all a fine way to spend a vacation...

Pros: Service was outstanding, Food totally exceeded my expectations.

Cons: Insufficient information about ports of call (maps, etc...)

The ship was not in port very long, but we were still able to see a fair amount of the old town and get a nice walk in.
Don't Miss: The Butterfly Conservatory
Nassau, Bahamas
Since we docked on Christmas day, there was not much at all going on. Most shops and restaurants were closed. We did do the clear kayak shore excursion, but it felt a bit rushed and there were not many reefs or fish to see at the destination where they took us.
