We recently sailed on Carnival Fascination as first time cruisers. What a dream. We didn't know what to expect, however we were thrilled with our experience. If you are thinking of taking a cruise, this is a great one to try. Staff and cruisers were all extremely friendly and gave us many tips. We enjoyed our trip in February so much, we all already booked for "Inspiration" in October. Happy sailing.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was bigger than we expected. Beds were very comfortable. Basket of items in bathroom that were very helpful, if you forgot anything.

A tropical storm had moved in when we got to Key West. We simply strolled the streets and shops for awhile. We were told to line up at Mallory Square ans the trolleys would be back every few minutes to return people to the ship. This didn't happen. We were tired of walking in the rain and wanted to go back to the ship, however the trolleys kept driving right by us. We waited for 1.5 hrs to be picked up. What we did see was nice. A map would also have been nice, so we would have at least an idea of where to go on foot. We would have liked to have gone to Jimmy Buffets bar.

The beach here is beautiful. We got a taxi in to town and walked around for awhile. It was still raining from the storm. Mid afternoon the sun cam out and was delightful. The ocean was so refreshing. Senor Frogs was a happening spot. We never went in, but watched the antics from the sidewalk.
Don't Miss: Tulum Ruins
