Review summary

We would cruise again, but would pick a newer, larger ship that has more onboard options.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Being PRIORITY definitely has benefits.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Guy's was the best for food on the ship. Dining room was mediocre. The wait staff were FANTASTIC.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Being a small ship, there is not a whole lot to do. The pool is tiny. All anyone could do was stand in it, and even then, you were touching shoulders.

Entertainment

None of the shows interested us.

Children's Programs

No children on cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Onboard staff were great. Everyone was accomodating and were pleasures to deal with.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was overall clean, but is very dated and needs several repairs. The glass elevators were out of service the entire cruise. Some of the decor was showing wear and tear.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was really nice and comfortable. The only drawback was the very small bathroom for 3 adults.

Ship tip

Have something for rough water. Being a smaller cruise ship, you will feel even the smallest waves.

Ports of call

Mobile, Alabama

4 out of 5
Embarkation and debarkation were great. Being PRIORITY had its benefits. Everything was fast and smooth.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

4 out of 5
The port was basically just a big gift shop. We had a excursion booked through cruises.com that was GREAT. We had to walk 3 blocks from the port to find it, but, with a much smaller group size, we were able to do things the big buses did not get to do. Great excusion, and Hugo was a terrific guide.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Port was another big gift shop. We again had an excursion booked through cruises.com (not the ship), and it was great. We did the dive and drive excursion. Small group again, DEFINITELY THE WAY TO BOOK, we only had 8 folks, and 4 were our family. On the excursion, after diving, we drove in a 4 door, automatic Jeep Wrangler hardtop, with air conditioning (the other 4 chose an open top, manual dune buggy) to a Taquila tour/tasting and an authentic Mexican meal.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Super fast, being priority, we were on the interstate home while other were just getting to Customs.
