Review summary
.My daughter booked this cruise for us, with it being our first and probably last, especially with carnival. This cruise was booked for my wife and i 42ed anniversary. My daughter has been on many cruises and really talked this experience up especially carnival. From the first hour of being on this ship, i can not tell you how rude staff was to all of us a number of times. Outside the formal dinning staff.. When we looked at booking this trip on this boat with carnival, the amenities advertised to us for this ship, was not even on or with this ship. There was hardly any activities to do, especially after dinner. Over half the bars, lounges and other areas of the boat never once had anyone in them at any time doing anything. My daughter specially asked to pay all charges up front, taxes and gratuity. Only to get on the boat and receive a bill the last night for this again for each of us, another couple hundred dollars. My daughter Karen who booked the trip was supposed to get a $50 on board credit for each room she booked. Along with many other people on the ship complaining she never recived it. They did leave her a voucher in her room with someone else information on it. Karen confirmed 2 weeks before we left that this was taken care of through carnival, along with all other necessary requirments. She nor anyone else on that ship recived their credit as they were told. The drink packages were all wrong for each person. My daughter Karen was charged several charges for her daughter who was 17 for alcohol beverages which should not of even been allowed. The food was medoker at best on the ship. We ate better on the islands and some little shake. A nuimber of times we saw staff leaning against walls or tables complaining about how tired they were. That is all fine but never in front of the customers and never when it puts a customer waiting 30 minutes for something that should take 5 at best. I can honestly say, i don't ever see any of us booking with carnival again for reasons i could sit here and go on and on about.Embarkation
