We just made our first cruise. It was great experience. Liked the route Bahamas and half moon cay. Entertainment on ship itself was ok, but half moon cay was awesome beach with blue water and white sand. Went snorkeling and staff out there were very helpful. Was too hot since its August but food & activities on the island were awesome.
I bought all shore excursions through carnival, no hassle if you book through them. You can sit back and relax and take part in the activity and enjoy it. They tend to sell out so book those tickets asap. Atlantis was ones in a life time experience with the deep water dolphin swim, my teen age kids enjoyed it.
There was a little bit of issue when we boarded back from Bahamas their computer system didnot work and we had to stand in a long long line for couple hours. Not worth it, should have stayed longer at Atlantis and taken a taxi.
Very limited veggi food choices on the main Laydo dinning area, didnot get clear instructions on indian food choices in the dinner hall and missed it first 2 days. But the 3rd day sit down dinner was awesome with lentil, tika masala and papad. Awesome service.
We had a grand suite which is great, nice and roomy. But the additional sofa bed was squicky. Kids didn't like it. Ship itself is getting old, shopping on ship is ok,
Not a lot of activities for grown up kids or teenage as well.
Over all Loved it, will take a different Carnival ship in a few years. Enjoyed!

Loved Half Moon Cay & Atlantis shore excursions. Snorkeling was my best experience on this cruise.
