A Quick Break

Sail Date: March 25, 2016

Reviewed: 8 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The cruise was a good break from the daily routine. The staff was awesome. The dinning room meal selection was boring. The Brits show was amazing and so was the Motown show. The ship needs a Mongolian wok food station. The Serenity deck was great but hard to find. The hot stone massage was awesome. The casino staff was great. The ship does show its age even after the upgrades. The art gallery was in a good location and very open. Nassau is a dump

Cabin / Stateroom
M10 had a heavy nicotine smoke smell and I was changed immediately to a new cabin which was an ocean view E-241. It felt bigger than the normal inside cabins I have had on Dream, Breeze & Sunshine
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Waiting in the lounge for platinum/diamond was the best thing instead of roaming the hallways. I have not seen this on any of the newer ships (Dream, Breeze, Sunshine, etc..)
Ship Quality
Good, but dated
Destinations and Excursions
Nassau is a dump. I could have shipped the port and enjoyed a trip to nowhere and it would have been fine
Onboard Activities
The Brits and Motown shows were top notch. I love the move to real singers each with a mic instead just headliners with mics and prerecorded background vocals
Children's Programs
No real opinion. I didn't travel with children
Entertainment
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
Dinning room menu needs a face lift. No lobster on elegant night
Miami, Florida
Its pretty basic like any other mega city in the US
Nassau, Bahamas
Stay on the ship and enjoy the amenities. This place is a dump.

Tip

Go to the shows early because they fill up quickly. Take a stroll through the art gallery on the way to your cabin
