Since we had been cruising before, we were expecting the typical experience.  This was a fantastic experience.  The older, smaller cruise ship, Carnival Fantasy, had been renovated a bit but was still pretty small.  The rooms need some upgrading, i.e. electrical outlets, but the service was great!  The food was fabulous and again the service was superb in the dining room. There seemed to be fewer people on board, no waiting in long lines, and the mood was festive.  Our cruise director, Benjamin, was extremely talented and personal. This was the first time we cruised from Charleston, SC.  It is very small compared to other cruise ports, but fun to see.  Overall our cruise experience was very good!!
