so so trip

Sail Date: January 01, 2015

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Carnival Fantasy is an older ship and has fewer amenities than other ships we have been on. The basic cabins are quite small but service was good. The shows were few and far between\, very late (10:00 or 11:00pm) and were just mediocre. There is no pool for adults although the Serenity area is quite nice and had two hot tubs (for 1800 people). The food was just okay and it was hard to find a clean table on the Lido deck. The private island excursion was a waste of money\, you would have a better time and better amenities by taking a cab to one of the beaches in Nassau.\"Faster to the Fun\" was well worth the cost.

Pros: the person I was with\, faster to the fun

Cons: so so service\, shows mediocre and too late\, tiny room

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? No.
