We put all our dreams in the hands of carnival and it was nothing but a nightmare!!!!!!We booked a 5 night Bahamas for my daughter's wedding that was to be held on board the Fantasy. There 30 people who were cursing and another 20 attending the wedding before the cruise. The wedding planner from Carnival had no clue or plan for the people attending or the people in the wedding party who were also cruising. Least to say, the guests had no direction as to where or how they were to get on board, they had not ordered the wedding parties tuxes, lost the bag with wedding rings, lost baggage, started the reception 1 1/2 hours late and the hits just keep on coming. The reception was to be 2 hours but because of the delays it was only 45 minutes for people who had traveled from Texas, Mass, PA...We have wedding photos with tuxedos that were scraped up from other "kind" passengers but my daughters son was not able to get a tuxedo so we now have formal pictures with her son in shorts, and the groomsman with rapper style tuxedos. We asked the manager on duty what carnival intended to do. Andrew (doing his best) said he could only issue a $500 credit. Considering the cost ($1250) to just rent the tuxedos from Carnival it didn't even cover the rental cost. In total my family and friends spent well over $20,000 with Carnival and we have yet to get Carnival to reimburse the costs and do the "right thing" Lastly, the ship was OLD the food was bland and entertainment was obsolete! Let's just say, I wouldn't get on another Carnival ship if it was the only boat in the ocean and the boat I was on was sinking!!!
