We decided at the last minute to take a cruise, which we love, and this one fell on the date that we needed. This was the first time we cruised out of Charleston, SC and really enjoyed it. This is a short 2 hour drive for us and that was much nicer for us.

The Fantasy, was smaller than we expected, but only a few time did we experience no chairs on the deck for sunning, but other than that not over crowded or anything.

The food was excellent, as always. We had the Anytime dinning, which we were not used to, and it works great, but we do like having our set time with the same waiters and staff each night. I know planning earlier, could assure we get our choice.

We were not able to port at Grand Turk, because of some sickness other cruise ships had experienced after this port, so the captain decided it was best for the welfare of all not to stop. This was a little discouraging, since we had never been there before, but we were very happy, the captain made that chioice for our health benifet. He did schedule a stop in Freeport and was very nice.

We would cruise Carnival again and the Fantasy again!

Ship Tip

We did breakfast on Liddo deck most of the time and was great. Also, loved the 11:30 meal on Liddo, even though we didn't need anything else.

I can honestly say I was never hungry on the ship, don't know why I ate all the time!
