A much needed Relaxing time

Sail Date: June 23, 2012

GREAT CRUISE - GREAT SERVICE - GREAT MUSIC (BOARDWALK), AND, MET MANY GREAT PEOPLE. THE MOST RELAXING TIME WE HAVE HAD IN OVER A YEAR!

Pros: BEING ABLE TO BOARD THE SHIP OUT OF CHARLESTON, CLOSER TO OUR HOME

Cons: The food (baked potatoes) and coffee were either luke warm or cold. I didn't think the food was as good on this trip as it has been in the past trips we have made with Carnival.

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!

Ship Quality
THE FANTASY IS ONE OF THE SMALLER SHIPS WE HAVE CRUISED ON - WITH ONLY HAVING THE ONE POOL, IT MAKES IT A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO GET TO UTILIZE THE POOL A LOT.
Food and Dining
ALTHOUGH THE FOOD WAS GOOD, IT WAS LACKING THIS TIME AROUND - WE HAVE SAILED THE FANTASY BEFORE. THE WAITERS AND SERVERS WERE WONDERFUL - NO COMPLAINT THERE. WE DID HAVE LUKE WARM COFFEE AND NOT EVEN LUKE WARM BAKED POTATOES.
Cabin / Stateroom
OUR ROOM (R157) WAS GREAT - WE HAD THE BEST ATTENDANT FOR OUR STATEROOM. HE WAS SO ATTENTIVE AND KEPT THE ROOM NEAT AND CLEAN AT ALL TIMES. WAS ALWAYS INFORMATIVE WHEN WE WOULD ASK HIM QUESTIONS. ONE OF THE BEST STATEROOM ATTENDANTS WE HAVE HAD ON OUR 8 CRUISES. HE DESERVES SPECIAL RECOGNITION FOR THIS.
Service and Staff
EVERYONE ON BOARD FROM THE CRUISE DIRECTOR TO OUR STATEROOM ATTENDANTS (R157) TO THE WAITERS AND SERVERS - THEY WERE ALL PHENOMENAL.
Entertainment
THE ONLY NEGATIVE WAS WHEN THE BAND, BOARDWALK, PLAYED IN THE CENTURY LOUNGE - FOLKS COULD NOT WALK THROUGH THERE - I WISH IT COULD HAVE BEEN ARRANGED FOR THEM TO PLAY IN MORE CLUBS. THE GAMES WERE FUN
