Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Very nice and well equipped.

Pros: Excellent service and friendly staff

Cons: Smaller ship than I expected, no elaborate midnight buffets like in the past

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!

Ship Quality
Smaller than I expected. Very clean all over.
Food and Dining
Excellent food. Loved our service provided by THW Sulaeman and TW Bojan and ATW Shelbin. They were very friendly and provided great entertainment during dinner. They are definately an asset to the Carnival family. Our dining experience was the best we have had on vacation yet.
Service and Staff
Everyone was very friendly. Our stateroom staff greeted us and called us by name everytime we met in hallway. Staff was very eager to please.
Cabin / Stateroom
Size was perfect. Bed was hard and not comfortable. My back hurt every morning. Something rolled around under us every night and we were not able to get a lot of sleep. Workers banging all during the day when docked and we were not able to take a break and nap during the day.
Entertainment
Late night comedy on the way home was too late considering we disembarked at 0630. Would like to have seen more shows and a eider variety of times offered for adult entertainment.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Very laid back and relaxing. Beautiful island. Beaches were gorgeous!
Don't Miss: beaches
Nassau, Bahamas
Very dirty city. traffic was awful. taxi driver took us to a restauraunt for local conch salad and drank beer while he waited for us. he took us through the hood and was very poor on telling us history and interesting facts along the trip. we took a paid shore excursion to tour nassau. i recommend staying on tje beaches and out of town.
Don't Miss: beaches
