A very good cruise.

Sail Date: June 22, 2011

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

Overall, it was a good cruise. Everything seemed well organized; the food was very good, the shows, particularly The Beatles show, were very good--professionally done, excellent choreography and costumes. The organization for embarking and disembarking was especially good--the best that we have experienced on a large cruise ship.

Pros: The ease of embarkation and disembarkation; the shows (The Beatles, in particular)

Cons: The crowds, particularly in the pool. For 2,000 guests, it was too small.

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
We particularly enjoyed the Celebration Dining Room-open seating. The service was very good and the food very good to excellent.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
The weather interfered with our shore excursion (snorkling) and the shops didn't appear to be particularly attractive.
Nassau, Bahamas

Don't Miss: Atlantis, paricularly if you have teen agers or young people.
