The ship was large enough, but small enough that my mother could walk whereever she wanted to go with no trouble.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The formal dining was not as good as we've had on previous cruises. We got pretty tired of hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken strips and fries (our "go to " food when we didn't want formal dining.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The musicians were very good, but the featured shows weren't as good as on previous cruises.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
As expected, the rooms were small but we had everything we needed and we were comfortable.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We took a snorkeling tour on a catamaran book through Orbitz. We had a great experience and it was not crowded like the Carnival snorkeling tour was.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
We took Carnival's Freeport Island tour. We saw industrial, residential and tourists area. The guide took us to the Fruit market which had the same selection of souvenirs as Port Lucaya, but the prices were better than at Port Lucaya.

Pros: The laid back atmosphere

Cons: The tap water - bring bottled water!!!

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!
