pretty good cruise for the money

Sail Date: May 09, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

ship was refurbished in 2008 and we liked the toned down decor. nice atmosphere in the dining room.

Pros: stateroom very clean & reasonable size. nice linens and towels, good size shower.

Cons: need bigger area for "adults" to get away from the constant party noise near the pool.

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
not as much variety as higher cost cruises but more than adequate for the price. only con was the quality of the steak on the menu, a bit tough.
Entertainment
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
very helpful when aaked for any service.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
really do not get to Freeport. everyone takes you to a shopping area for a $10 RT cab ride. save your money and shop[ in the area alongside the pier and then get back on board and enjoy the day with fewer people on board.
Don't Miss: none
Nassau, Bahamas
more history and "native" atmosphere than the Freeport stopover. better shopping selection. some folks went for the dolphin experience and loved it. we went to the Nassau Hilton for a day at the beach.
