We have taken many cruises, this being the first with Carnival. We found the ship to be extremely basic and no frills compared to the other cruise lines we have traveled with in the past. Both the ship and the stateerooms were a bit disappointing, they were outdated and very plain. The food was good, especially inthe dining room, however the service from the wait staff was beyond terrible. It was so bad that for the first time in my life i did not tip the waitstaff. They were rude and very impersonable. They basically never interacted with you. The service was so bad that the last 2 days we ate at the buffet just to avoid interaction with them because of how aggravated they made us. Camp Carnival was great for our 3 year old she loved it . She had alot of fun and did many activities with them. We on the otherhand found that while sailing there were not many activities to do. When comparing their actiivities to other cruises the cruise director did a poor job putting things together to keep you busy while at sea. I didnt have a terrible experience with them overall, however i would not recommend them as a first choice for sailing with again.

Freeport was ok my husband and father went fishing and had a good time. the rest of us went to all inclusive radisson beach and pools. Definately not worth the price tag. Nice place however a $100.00 price per person was a bit ridiculous for a beach. Everything else to do there was for an additional fee. Also it was a bit disturbing that alot of houses had barbed wire surrounding their perimeters.

Loved Atlantis. Weather was in the high 70's with a breeze but all the pools and water here were heated. There was also a variety of things to for different age groups and my daughter who is 3 was free :) They had a beach, pools , kid pools, waterslides for over 48" and several for under 48" , aquarium casino and you could swim with dolphins for additional fees. great variety.

Pros: Nassau atlantis was a great excusion.

Cons: Staff in the dining area had no personality and were extremely rude!

Recommends Carnival Fantasy? No.
