Review SummaryWe have taken many cruises, this being the first with Carnival. We found the ship to be extremely basic and no frills compared to the other cruise lines we have traveled with in the past. Both the ship and the stateerooms were a bit disappointing, they were outdated and very plain. The food was good, especially inthe dining room, however the service from the wait staff was beyond terrible. It was so bad that for the first time in my life i did not tip the waitstaff. They were rude and very impersonable. They basically never interacted with you. The service was so bad that the last 2 days we ate at the buffet just to avoid interaction with them because of how aggravated they made us. Camp Carnival was great for our 3 year old she loved it . She had alot of fun and did many activities with them. We on the otherhand found that while sailing there were not many activities to do. When comparing their actiivities to other cruises the cruise director did a poor job putting things together to keep you busy while at sea. I didnt have a terrible experience with them overall, however i would not recommend them as a first choice for sailing with again.
